Through our community research service, we provide valuable feedback to government, business and service providers to help break down barriers and provide opportunities for in-depth understanding. Advocacy WA can help you design, test and improve policies, products and services, ensuring better outcomes for all!

We can advise about tools to help you get the understanding you need. Our community research package includes:

Surveys - We create accessible surveys to gather feedback from people with disability on a range of issues. Our online, paper and phone surveys are designed to be easily understood and we provide easy-read instructions for participants

Workshops - Our community consultation workshops are delivered by skilled facilitators with lived experience of disability. Our workshops are designed to accommodate different communication styles and are accessible to people with a range of disabilities.

Focus Groups - As a trusted service provider, we draw on our large networks to recruit focus groups who represent the full range of disability and provide feedback on products, services and other aspects of their lived experience.

Interviews - We conduct one-to-one meetings when an in-depth understanding of a person’s lived experience is required. Our skilled facilitators ensure that people feel comfortable to share their thoughts and feelings in a safe environments.
